Lets Hear It For The Girls

Welcome to the Bombshell September blog hop.  If you have arrived here from Susie's blog, Little Smiles, you are on the right track.  If you would like to start at the beginning, jump on over to the Bombshell Blog and start from there.  Our Theme is "Let's Hear It for the Girls".  We thought we would get a jump on October.  We were also supposed to use pink in our cards.  Well I did but I used a shocking pink, something I usually on do on request.  It just went with the stamp set this month.

Speaking of stamp sets, I used my new Panther Tattoo set.  I thought it brought that "Fight Like a Girl" idea out really well.  So after all that set up here's my "girly" panther card.

I really like how the embossed panther rocks the pink paper.  For a change I didn't use a patterned paper.  I didn't want it to distract from my panther.  So, I embossed the pink background paper with a great leopard print.  Since this is a card for a girl, it definitely needed lace, bling and flowers; so, of course, I added those too.

Since I seldom do a card without decorating the inside somehow, here's a pic of the interior.

Now I'm going to send you off to Kathi's blog.  I'm sure you are going to love her card.  She is so talented.

Just in case you get lost here's a little blog listing of all the particpating artists.

  2. Wow! I love this.

The hot pink & black are wonderful together. That animal print embossing is perfect for the panther, and the addition of the lace and doily was inspired.
