I wanted a card that had a vintage feel but that had lots of feminine detail. I think the pearls, lace edging and borders and roses really do that. I am also in love with this new to me Spellbinders ornate rectangles die set and you are probably going to see it showing up in a number of my cards.
To color the cups I used my favorite gamsol magic technique. It took a pile of pencils before I found just the right match for the colors. I added a shadow of color behind the teacups using a stencil brush and distress inks. It just looked to stark without the light color wash.
