Red Rubber Inspirational #108 - Get Inky

Welcome to Red Rubber Inspirationals.  Every Thursday is a new week of inspiration on the Red Rubber Designs Blog.  This week Inspiration #109 is "Get Inky", use more than one color ink.

My card for this inspiration used Red Rubber Designs Victorian Heart Stamp Set  and Blossom

I began by stamping the butterflies from the Victorian Heart Stamp Set with embossing ink onto white cardstock.  I then embossed them with clear embossing powder and sponged four colors of Versamark ink over the paper.  After wiping off the excess ink, the butterflies stood out wonderully.  I then stamped the Blossom stamp onto the white card and covered it with one shade of ink from the background and again wiped off the excess.

After mounting the image to the background paper.  I cut out some of the extra butterflies and used them as the embellishments for this card.
